Services Overview
Our Housing Counseling & Financial Services include the Housing Consumer Education Center (HCEC), financial assistance for renters (the RAFT program), help with finding housing, home modification loans, and more.
For individuals in need of counseling and programs such as homeownership education, help with landlord/tenant issues, financial capability training, etc.
Difficulty paying your rent? If you’ve lost income or are struggling to pay expenses due to a hardship, financial assistance through the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) program is available.
Provides loans to fund necessary changes to keep elderly homeowners, individuals with disabilities, and families of children with disabilities in their own homes.
If you need assistance navigating the housing market, there are resources to help you find safe housing that you can afford.
HomeBASE and Secure Jobs are two programs for individuals and families who are transitioning out of homelessness into a more stable environment.

AffordableHousing.com: A large and trusted source for finding affordable housing. There are features to help people know what they can afford and what they are eligible for to make the process of finding affordable housing easy! In addition, landlords with available units to lease may add them to the list.

Housing Navigator Massachusetts: Housing Navigator Massachusetts connects people with a place to call home. This free online tool makes it simple to search for affordable rentals statewide. In addition, landlords and property owners can feature properties just like on any marketing site with engaging photos, floor plans, and brochures.
